Building on a longstanding and trusted relationship, the spaces team recently had the opportunity to once again work with our partners at design agency brandfuel.

Our task – to bring to reality a series of amazing collaborative spaces for Google Android.

With a firm concept already formulated, we began to work through the finite detail, analysing the requirements and providing the entire team – including all relevant stakeholders – with a project critical path.

With the involvement of such an ambitious and globally recognisable brand, attention to detail was key – from sourcing the right materials and fixtures, to understanding the mechanics of manufacture and installation, we ensured that all elements of specification were signed off by the necessary stakeholders at each step of the project.

By providing specification guides and material samples, we allowed brandfuel to retain overall creative control and give signoff for every element at every stage.

Our fit-out remit included several public areas and foyers, along with a series of immersive and highly-detailed conference rooms. Each room offered a striking unique look and feel, individually themed around stores you would find on the traditional high-street.

From Barbers to Book Stores, Cycle Shops to Florists, the rooms ensured visitors became completely immersed within their surroundings and allowed Android’s software and services to be seamlessly integrated and showcased in context.

This novel and engaging way of illustrating real-world scenarios further highlighted the possibilities of the operating system from this trusted brand leader.
