An ongoing partnership between Apprentice winner Harpreet Kaur, Oh So Yum! and Spaces by Equinox has seen a brand-new sit in dessert parlour and dedicated HQ space built for The Apprentice 2022 winner.
The brief: Bring to life a vibrant design for this latest desert parlour.
Add a little sugar
Sisters and co-founders Harpreet and Gurvinder launched their business in 2015, with the brand gaining tremendous press coverage from Harpreet’s appearance and win on BBC’s The Apprentice 2022. With a dessert parlour in Huddersfield and a retail space within Yorkshire’s White Rose Shopping Centre, this latest parlour is their third space.
Spaces by Equinox has worked alongside Harpreet and Gurvinder on their retail spaces and jumped at the chance to work on this latest desert parlour after Harpreet’s new venture with Lord Alan Sugar.
The sweetest combination
A brand that aims to provide a guilt free sweet escape, Oh So Yum! is instantly recognisable with its bubbly, playful branding which runs through their dessert parlours and retail spaces.
A combination of in-house craftmanship and colourful finishes has created an exciting space for customers to enjoy a wide range of sweet treats, including their signature brookies, cookie pies + cookie cups.
Set in the City of Culture for 2025, this Bradford dessert parlour will also home the Oh So Yum! HQ, with dedicated space to fulfil online orders and an event space for hire!
Oh So… Complete!
Set upon lavender flooring from Forbo’s Eternal range, custom built high and low backed banquette seating feature throughout the space. The soft pink tone of Hollyhock from Camira’s Vita range pops on seating against Egger tabletops. Panelling throughout the space features a mix of finishes from Egger, all lit by lighting from Hacel Lighting.
Behind the scenes, the space has a dedicated catering facility for both in-house diners and to facilitate their UK sweet treat delivery service.
Bringing this dessert parlour from initial concept to store opening has been an exciting journey for the Spaces by Equinox team, congratulations to Harpreet and Gurvinder, we cannot wait to see where this next venture takes them.
